On the Fourth of July, we went with Jason and Dad up to Mt. Zion in Utah for a quick trip through some beautiful terrain. It was an eventful trip that included losing Dad somewhere in the mountains (not really that unexpected) for about five hours. Jason was able to get to the end of Angel's Landing, a rather tough, yet rewarding hike.
In the end, we found that Marek has very little interest in nature. As we were on the drive up to the mountain, he asked if there were going to be any roller coasters he could ride on. Colin, on the other hand, had a good time and had a greater appreciation for the outdoors.
